Jeans are one of the most popular fashion trends ever. On average, every German owns eight pairs of jeans. And every season new denim trends emerge. Most of us probably own a lot more than the average eight pairs. The variety of jeans trends in spring 2023 is greater than ever: wide, tight, high waist, low waist, light washed and dark denim – it’s the time when everything goes. It’s easy to lose track of things and no longer see the jeans because of all the trends. In the following you will therefore find the three most important jeans trends for spring 2023, which will remain.
YOU NEED TO KNOW THESE 3 JEANS TRENDS FOR SPRING 2023
1.JEANS TREND 2023: SKINNY JEANS AT CELINE
By the time Celine Head Designer Hedi Slimane presented the fall/winter 2023/24 collection in Los Angeles in December, the runway at The Wiltern had transformed into a late-noughties renaissance. Skinny jeans made their comeback. And the skin-tight trend trousers of the late noughties were also seen again at Gucci and Saint Laurent.
2.JEANS TREND 2023: JEANS MAXI SKIRT AT STELLA MCCARTNEY
The more you see him, the more you have to love him. The maxi denim skirt was spotted sporadically on the catwalks last year, but this spring it’s everywhere. No wonder, because firstly it is so comfortable that you can wear it to Sunday brunch, secondly its length makes it look so elegant that you can even wear it to the office and thirdly it is and will remain made of denim and still has a certain casualness that completes an outfit. Stella McCartney and other designers have already seen the maxi-length denim skirt for autumn/winter 2023/2024. Investing is therefore worthwhile, because the fashion trend remains.
3.JEANS TREND 2023: DOUBLE DENIM AT GANNI
If you haven’t worn denim from top to bottom yet, you’ll get the chance again in 2023. Because the designers see us in double denim for the spring and summer as well as for the autumn/winter season, just like here at Ganni. The darker the denim wash, the more elegant the look.
