Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro with new features
The South Korean company’s flagship active noise-cancelling (ANC) in-ear headphones are getting a number of firmware upgrades to offer an even more customized listening experience. Especially for people with mild hearing loss and for those who want to fine-tune their earbuds even further.
The most important new feature will quickly become apparent to those using the Galaxy Wearable app: two additional ambient sound modes for a total of five levels of amplification to hear the sounds around the user. Some tests commissioned by Samsung have shown that users with mild to moderate hearing loss experience improved speech perception and better communication in quiet places.
Samsung also allows users to adjust the volume for the left and right earphones separately and adjust the sound range in five levels from soft to clear in the ambient noise mode.
According to Samsung, the new features for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will be made available “via a software update in the coming weeks”.
