WhatsApp will release three new features soon

Meta’s online messaging app, WhatsApp, is working on a redesigned settings page that includes three new shortcuts, WABetainfo reported on Friday.

The non-progressive feature will be made available to users in future updates to the app that will allow users to try a better experience while viewing the app’s settings.

“WhatsApp is planning to add Star to app settings, which is already available on WhatsApp for iOS,” reported WhatsApp Tracker.

WhatsApp changes the layout of the keyboard for easier access to options. According to the post, it is important to mention that WhatsApp has plans to introduce a new shortcut in the chat list, allowing users to easily access the app’s settings with a single tap.

When this shortcut is enabled in the future, users will be able to try out the new app settings interface.

WABetainfo revealed that the instant messaging app is working on a feature to generate WhatsApp usernames.

According to an insider, WhatsApp is currently in the process of developing a username feature, which will enable users to select a distinctive username for their accounts. The feature is still being developed, and further details are yet to be revealed
