At the time, the start of sales in Europe was confirmed to us personally, although a sales price for the camera smartphone was never communicated. Now a tipster who can be classified as reliable wants to know the price for France – and thus for Europe. So much can be revealed in advance: the ultimate camera flagship with German Leica cooperation will not be cheap in this country!
- Tipster Billbil-Kun claims the Xiaomi 13 Ultra costs 1,499 euros in France
- The Chinese starting price of the camera flagship is the equivalent of 790 euros
- However, in Europe there will only be the 12/512 GB storage variant
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be expensive fun in this country!
The esteemed NextPit colleague Stefan is one of two German editors who were able to attend the launch event of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra live and on site in Beijing. Including the camera kit, we also brought a test sample to Berlin. Even then, Stefan was personally promised that the ultimate camera smartphone would also be sold in Europe. But neither the start of sales nor the price has been announced so far.

Now, trusted tipster Billbil Kun has announced a price of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra via his Twitter account. It is said that the camera flagship comes to Europe exclusively in the colors black and olive green with 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB internal UFS 4.0 program memory at a price of 1,499 euros. In detail, the price is for France, but as in the past it should also apply to the whole of Europe.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra was launched in China on April 18, 2023 at a price of 5,999 yuan, which corresponds to almost 790 euros at today’s exchange rate. This would almost double the European price, although it should be noted that this is a 12/256 GB variant. The largest storage variant is 1 TB and costs 7,299 yuan – around 960 euros, but like the color white, according to initial statements, it will not be available globally. It is also still unclear whether Xiaomi will sell the camera kit in this country, which makes taking pictures much more comfortable.
Should you rather buy the Xiaomi 13 Ultra from an import dealer?
Of course, the justified question arises as to whether a purchase from a German-speaking import dealer such as TradingShenzhen at a price of 1,087 euros (12/256 GB) would not make much more sense. As noted in our test, however, it should be noted that you have to reckon with the English system language and missing LTE bands, such as Band 20. These are primarily utilized in rural regions.
The remaining technical data, such as a 6.73-inch AMOLED display (3,200 x 1,440 pixels), a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and a 5,000 mAh battery would be identical. Not to forget the outstanding 4x 50 MP quad camera, which didn’t do too well in our blind camera test. But Stefan explains –> HERE, why the camera is still one of the best things you can currently buy in the sector.
